Itineraries

Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and check into your accommodation, such as one of the eco-lodges or tented camps located within the park.
In the afternoon, take a guided nature walk to explore the lush, biodiverse forest and get an introduction to the park’s flora and fauna.
In the evening, attend a talk by a park ranger or guide to learn more about the mountain gorillas and conservation efforts in Bwindi.
Spend the rest of the evening relaxing and acclimatizing to the high altitudes.

Begin the day with a hearty breakfast before heading out for a gorilla trekking excursion. This activity can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 6 hours, depending on the mobility of the gorilla families.
Hike through the forest with an experienced guide to locate and spend an hour observing a habituated gorilla family group. This is the highlight of any visit to Bwindi.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated spot within the forest.
In the afternoon, visit one of the local community projects or cultural sites to learn about the indigenous Batwa people and their relationship with the forest.

Start the day with a nature walk in the park, exploring the lush forest and spotting various bird species and plants. This activity can take around 3-4 hours.
Afternoon: Return to your lodge for lunch and then depart for Kampala, stopping at various points along the way to rest and enjoy the views.
Evening: Arrive back in Kampala and transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
