Itineraries

Day 1

Nairobi-Masai Mara National Reserve

  • Depart from Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve (approximately 5-6 hours).
  • Enjoy the breathtaking view as you journey through the Great Rift Valley escarpment and its incredible physical features.
  • A stopover at a scenic viewpoint to admire the stunning view and take photos of the Great Rift valley. Hand-made souvenirs may be bought here from local artisans as they amuse you with myths and legends about how the Rift Valley came to be.
  • Arrive at Maasai Mara for a refreshing lunch at your camp/lodge in the Maasai Mara.
  • Embark on an afternoon game drive in the offering an opportunity to explore the vast plains and encounter an array of wildlife species, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species.
  • Witness incredible wildlife interactions, such as predators on the hunt or herds of wildebeest and zebras on their annual migration across the Mara River. Usually happens during the months of July-October.
  • Return to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Masai Mara Full Day Game Drive

  • Start the day with an early morning game drive after a hearty breakfast, as the sun rises over the vast savannahs of Maasai Mara witnessing predators on the hunt and herbivores grazing peacefully in the golden light.
  • Keep an eye out for the iconic Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, white and black rhinos.
  • Explore different areas of the reserve, each offering unique wildlife sightings and stunning vistas.
  • Take a break for a bush picnic lunch amidst the wilderness, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature.
  • Return to the lodge/camp for a delightful dinner, recalling the day’s incredible experiences and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Masai Mara-L.Nakuru National Park

  • Depart Maasai Mara after a tasty breakfast and check out from your lodge/camp to Lake Nakuru National Park (approximately 5 hours drive. An optional visit to the Maasai village, a homestead for the Maasai people which is rich in cultural activities and their way of life, is recommended. You will get to see the carefully constructed Manyattas.
  • Enjoy the scenic drive as you leave the Maasai Mara behind and transition to the beautiful landscapes surrounding Lake Nakuru.
  • Arrive for lunch and check-in at your budget hotel/lodge.
  • Embark on an afternoon game drive, discovering the park’s diverse wildlife, including rhinos, buffaloes, and the rare Rothschild giraffes.
  • Witness the mesmerizing sight of thousands of pink flamingos, pelicans, cormorants, ostriches, kingfishers, storks, herons and eagles along the lake’s shores.
  • Enjoy dinner and spend a comfortable night at the lodge/hotel, surrounded by nature’s serenity.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru National Park to Amboseli National Park

  • Early breakfast and departure: After breakfast, depart the picturesque Lake Nakuru and continue your journey to Amboseli National Park (approximately 6 hours).
  • Enjoy the scenic drive as you depart from the Rift Valley region and make your way towards Amboseli. You’ll witness the changing landscapes, transitioning from the lush greenery of Naivasha to the drier, open plains of Amboseli.
  • Check-in at your camp/lodge in Amboseli and for lunch. Amboseli is known for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, which forms a magnificent backdrop to the park’s diverse wildlife.
  • Embark on an exhilarating afternoon game drive. The park is renowned for its large elephant herds, and you’ll have the opportunity to witness these majestic creatures roaming freely against the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
  • Capture the iconic image of elephants with the snow-capped peaks in the distance.
  • Encounter other wildlife species, including lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of birdlife.
  • Enjoy the sweeping vistas of Amboseli’s vast plains, dotted with acacia trees and marshes, which attract a multitude of wildlife. The park’s diverse ecosystems provide ample opportunities for wildlife encounters and unique photographic moments.
  • Return to your camp/lodge in Amboseli. Take some time to relax and soak in the tranquil atmosphere of the park
  • Enjoy a delicious dinner, sharing stories of the day’s wildlife sightings and marveling at the spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and an overnight stay at your camp/lodge.

Day 5

Amboseli-Mombasa

  • After an early breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive to Mombasa (approximately 7 hours).
  • Enjoy the scenic drive as you leave the Amboseli region and make your way towards the coast.
  • Arrive in Mombasa and check into your beach hotel or resort. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the beautiful beaches of Mombasa, taking in the warm Indian Ocean breeze and the vibrant coastal atmosphere.
  • Explore the historic old town of Mombasa, with its winding streets, colorful markets, and impressive architecture.
  • Enjoy a delicious seafood dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 7

Mombasa

  • After a leisurely breakfast, check out of your hotel and depart Mombasa for the drive back to Nairobi (approximately 7 hours).
  • Stop over en-route Nairobi at a tastefully selected restaurant.
  • Drop off at your hotel or at the airport in Nairobi, marking the end of your ultimate safari adventures
  • Meet, Greet and Assist services.
  • Park fees at Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli National Parks.
  • Full board accommodation while on Safari.
  • Game drives in the game reserve and the parks.
  • A professional driver/guide.
  • Transport in a comfortable safari vehicle with a pop-up roof for game viewing.
  • Drinking water while on safari.
