Itineraries
Day 1
Nairobi to Malindi
Report to the Nairobi SGR train station for your train to Mombasa. Guests should arrive at the SGR station by 7:am, as the train departs for Mombasa one hour later. Expect to arrive in Mombasa after a six-hour journey, after which you will be transferred to the hotel in Malindi or Watamu. Upon arrival at the hotel, you can check in, have lunch, relax, and even go swimming if you wish. Later, enjoy dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 2
Malindi and Watamu
After breakfast, you can explore Watamu and enjoy a variety of activities. You can go snorkeling over the coral reefs, try kite surfing, explore the sea with diving or scuba diving, and visit the extraordinary Arabuko Sokoke forest. For lunch, you can head to the Crab Shack in Dabaso and then later on enjoy a sunset dhow cruise at Mida Creek. Lastly, you can return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3
Malindi to Nairobi
Enjoy breakfast and then proceed to the sandy beaches to capture the last moments in Watamu. Take some final shots on the beach and around the hotel. Afterwards, visit the Watamu Marine Park.
Check out after lunch and arrange transportation to the Mombasa SGR terminus for your train back to Nairobi. A pickup from the Nairobi SGR terminus can be arranged at an extra cost.
