The Sirimon–Naro Moru with Peak Circuit Route offers one of the most exciting and diverse trekking experiences on Mount Kenya (5,199 m). This route perfectly blends the gentle, scenic ascent of the Sirimon Route, the adventurous summit circuit trail, and the iconic descent through Naro Moru — creating a full, all-round exploration of Africa’s second-highest mountain.
This combination route is ideal for trekkers who want to see more of Mount Kenya and experience contrasting landscapes — from lush montane forests to alpine moorlands and rugged summit terrain.
The Sirimon Route is known for its gradual climb and spectacular views, making it excellent for acclimatization. The Peak Circuit Trail circles the high peaks — Batian, Nelion, and Lenana — offering panoramic scenery and close encounters with the mountain’s most dramatic features. Finally, the Naro Moru descent provides a faster, more direct way down the mountain, passing through the famous Vertical Bog and the stunning Teleki Valley.
